it's been a year!

I guess Blogger and I are still newlyweds, but I'm celebrating the year mark today. Celebrate with me and let me know who you lovely people are who read my blog. Come on, just this once, leave me a comment. (Blogger just made it easier to leave comments! You don' t have to have a blogger ID anymore! Yes, Mom, you too can leave me a comment!) Here, I'll give you a good question to answer....Umm, okay, maybe I don't have a good question, but here are some ideas of what you could share with us:

a link to a good recipe
a silly joke
just where you're from
a link to (another) great blog
what you love about winter
what you want to do when you come visit me in South Korea

See, the possibilities of thoughts you can comment on are almost endless, so come on, if you're reading this, leave me a comment to celebrate my year of blogging!

Wow!! A whole year! Happy anniversary. Let's see....an answer to one of your questions....what I love about winter is the cold smell in the air. Weird, I know. Today it hit the mid-80s here in North Texas. It was actually hot - yuck. Not ready for that yet!

I know that cold smell. We had another cold front come in yesterday and it's pretty cold here still...better to me than 80 in February.

All you non-commenters, speak up!

Lela: Mom here, blogging away. It is midnight and I am cleaning for the cleaning lady. I get tickled at Lela the bowling queen. When I was at ACU, you could not wear pants unless you were going bowling. There were a lot of people who bowled on their check out destinations. Yes, you had to sign out to leave at night. I, too, understand about the cold smell that Jenni talked about, and I like it too. It was mid 70's today! Global warming...Love from MOM

I want to visit a bath house and your favorite eating places! Some of your posts send me straight to the YAHOO yellow pages looking for the nearest Korean restaraunt! Happy Anniversary - Kristin

Let's see . . . when I come to visit you, I'd like to eat some really good kimchi. And when you come to visit me in Thailand, I will take you to eat sticky rice and mango (my favorite dessert!)

Anything involving eating is a piece of cake :), so is going to a bath house!
Mmm...sticky rice and mango sounds yummy. Mangos here are pretty expensive, I think.

Lela! It seems I'm a little late to this party! But hey, better late than never, right? Let's see, when I come to visit you, I want to shop for shirts and notepads with hilarious korean english translations on them - I love those! (lela knew I wouldn't say anything about food, being the wimpy eater I am!)
Happy One Year Anniversary!

Thanks for posting, you guys. I was hoping to hear from a really random person, too. Maybe there has to be a reward or something. Jenn, your request is easy to fulfill. I sometimes go into stationery stores or wander in the markets just to see what funny stuff I can find.

Your sister Laura is here this time, but she happens to share the same sentiments as the other Laura that posted! I much rather enjoy spring. Tulips are already coming out!

Lela - I am Laura C's mother. I enjoy reading on your blog & learning about other activities that are happening in Korea that Laura hasn't written about. Sorry I missed meeting you in December when we came to visit Laura in Suji.

Happy Anniversary! As I've told you before, I really enjoy reading about all you are doing there. Dennis and I were in Texas last weekend for my sister's 50th wedding anniversary. The family gathered at a resort 50 miles west of Austin. So we even picked out Dripping Springs on the map! Right now in CT it is snowing heavily. We expect to get 8-12 inches.
